Why is there no MCH style gear?

If your intention is to make a separate set for MCH from the BRD set, stop now. It is already bad enough that NIN(which uses dex) is separate from the BRD gear.

This is pretty much THE quintessential swashbuckling gunner attire. Kirimu coat, Allied Seal Maelstrom hat, gloves, boots, pants.

Now, if you're not Maelstrom: Well hey, can't help that you didn't pick the best GC. :V

If I had to choose another look, I would go with the steam punk look. I never cared for pirates and the such. I see the MCH as more of an inventor/Engineer.

That's how I see it too. The AF gear will fix that tho. If im stuck with that (it is awesome) I can't complain. I don't main MCH though so it going to take longer to get once released unfortunately.

I choose to main MCH because of the general feel for it. I do hope our AF then is Steam Punk/Engineer oriented.

Everything looks okay if you're a bard but im not seeing much in the way of mch looking outfits. The lvl 59 outfit, while not mch looking would have been kinda cool if not for a horrid green. I guess I was just expecting more steampunk style outfits or something. Plus most outfits have the gun floating miles away.

As a whm I agree, the new sets look awesome for whm but im getting no Sch vibe from them. The old af set of having those glasses and hat suit it better. I do wish there was more identity with these shared sets. Just looking you should be able to say "oh, this suits mch and this suits bard". I do get the lvl 60 is more mch but ive not seen the full gear. I was just hoping for more since bard has more suiting their style.
