Gold Chocobo Feathers Question

I'm a little bit confused about something with the Gold Chocobo Feathers that they're going to be adding to the Recruit A Friend campaign. Let's say for example: I recruited two friends and they've both been subscribe for a hundred and fifty days, does that mean I'm going to be getting ten feathers or am I just going to be getting five feathers instead of ten?

For every recruited friend, you always get 5 gold chocobo feathers. So for recruiting two friends, you'd get 10 gold chocobo feathers.

However, the rewards based on subscription length are given out once. So if both of your friends subscribe for 150 days, you only get the 5 extra gold chocobo feathers for one. Including with the 10 you get from just recruiting them, you'd have 15 gold chocobo feather then.

Ok so here's the question, if the first friend stops playing after 6 months and the second friend plays longer will his time take over for later rewards or are you then screwed?

From what I know, yes, your second friend will take over the later rewards. As long as any of your friends has subscribed for the reward's length, you'll get the reward.

Second paragraph under the gold chocobo feather section.

"In the event that two or more friends have been recruited, only the subscription length of the friend with the longer subscription period will be counted. The number of days subscribed will not be a total from all friends recruited. Also note that even if two or more friends have been recruited, these rewards will only be awarded once per service account."

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I just received my Gold Chocobo Feathers via Moogle Mail, but I only received 10. Is my math wrong? Here's what I thought I'd get:

Recruited a friend: 5 Gold Chocobo Feathers.
That same friend has been subscribed for 210 days: 10 Gold Chocobo Feathers.

Doesn't that mean I should be receiving 15 Gold Chocobo Feathers? Any ideas why I only received 10? Thanks!

Also for the record, the Amber Draught Chocobo cannot fly. It is essentially the same as the normal Draught Chocobo, in red.
