When a player gets poisoned, you will lose about 5-10% of your HP before poison wears off.
When a pet gets poisoned (SCH, SMN summons etc), pet will lose at least 75% HP if not outright die.

This mechanic is not new, it's been around since 2.0, but since you're taking time to review/adjust job performance, I thought I would point this out so you can do something about this disparity.
