Agreed. Emergency tactics is kind of an "emergency, but not so much" just because of the animation. I was expecting something really quick, to fit the name, but it's a bit sluggish and break the pace.

The name is misleading. Scholars already have a good emergency button (Lustrate). Emergency Tactics is best used for cases where you know in advance that heavy damage will be incoming (Blinding Blade, Discoid, etc.) and can prepare it in advance, while Lustrate is best used in cases where you need a panic heal that fires immediately.



Exactly. ET is for when you anticipate needing to restore a lot of actual HP very soon.
Heavy raid damage that you hadn't been counting on (like the failure of a mechanic) = Indomitability.
