    I get crazy bonuses on farming crystals. +1, +3, +7, even gotten a +10 a few times doing em.

    It's a Trait, level 42 if i remember right. It gives a chance to increase the yield of items that don't have HQ versions like shards, crystals, clusters and carbonized matter. It should work in old areas too, haven't tried farming there though.
