Assuming your tests were accurate, that's not surprising.

Melee is single target. It should do a lot more.

Ranged is a very long line, capable of hitting more mobs than the Mage limit break if positioned correctly.

So...nothing to see here?

I really can't think of a situation where this would happen though, except for T10 with the two add spawns. The line is incredibly narrow, and most boss arenas are small enough that you can cover the entire room with a caster LB3 anyway. Nor is the line that long mind you. It'll stretch far enough to reach across A1's boss room, I think. Caster LB right on the center would cover the entire room.

Not any of this matters though since most people won't take my MCH to farm content anyway, and they'll still stick with melee LB for bosses :l
