    AST Collective Unconscious - Is this a joke?

    This ability is a piece of trash. I'm curious in what content - either 4 or 8 man - you anticipate a healer being able to sit there for 18 seconds to channel an ability. Using it leaves me with:
    • No healing ability
    • No cards
    • No DPSing
    Please make some sort of adjustment to this in 3.05 - like allowing us to "drop" the aoe and have the ability stay where it's put even if we move/perform other actions.

    Its meant to be used during phase transitions or big hits where they have a second afterwards to heal, not during normal fights.

    Its for instances like Teraflare, Gigaflare, and the like.

    AST has too many situational skills imo.
    It needs to be tweaked were we can place it and let us to do other stuff.

    Q20. Are there any plans to make any type of adjustments for astrologians?

    A20. We’re thinking of making adjustments where astrologians will be able to use Spread while not in combat, or shortening the recast time for Shuffle. We have received feedback on how Lightspeed is hard to use, and so we’re planning to make adjustments so you can clearly feel the strength of this. As for Collective Unconscious and Celestial Opposition, instead of adjusting the stats similar to other healer actions, we’ll make astrologian-like adjustments where they switch between stances. We’ll make these adjustments without waiting for Alexander (Savage).
    Just wait & see, for now I'll stick with my SCH lol

    You want a 150 potency HoT after a big hit? During what phase transition can you sit there for 18 seconds and do nothing else?

    For example during A4, after a leg has been destroyed and the manipulator has recovered, you use Noct Collective to reduce the groups damage from the unavoidable attack that follows by 10%.

    A1 as well, after the bosses take off and you have run to the opposite side of where they will land.

    *Spoilers* (I guess?):

    A1 - When bosses land together on one side of the floor.
    A3 - When he casts Cascade (I've had DF parties that didn't manage to kill all adds during "tornado fountain" and ended up with a vulnerability stack, and would die to Cascade without mitigation.
    A3 - When he transforms into a hand and people stack in the middle to mitigate damage, it helps and the other healer can heal that little damage you take.
    A4 - When each leg dies.

    Ravana - Right before he finishes his ultimate cast.
    Bismarck - Right before he appears in front of you to do its ultimate attack.

    That's with nocturnal sect pretty much. With diurnal sect I only use it on Ravana after his ultimate, 'cuz I can stay up a bit longer and people top their HP while landing on the floor and saves MP from AoE healing before the push to wall.
    So far it's fine, the only complain I would actually agree is the mobility vs mitigation unbalanced. If they're gonna make us unable to move, mitigation should be at least 5% higher.

    I would like that the mp regeneration of the astro increase during collective unconscious. you'd still grant 10% damage reduction to your team and could recover a little if you're short in energize
