Constant 90002 Error

I've recently disconnected about once or twice every instance I run with the 90002 error message (sometimes followed by a lobby error). The housing neighborhood instance has kicked me out too. Yesterday I tried swapping to DirectX 9 and was able to play 4 hours with no disconnects. I'll try again today and will let you know if I just got lucky.

I play on a Windows 7 PC with an AMD GPU.

Edit 1. Disconnected once when in a zone with an S rank, but that could be population related. Did 3 dungeons and no dc there.

Edit 2. No disconnects today using the DirectX 9 setting. The game is running as smoothly as ever even in dungeons. I recommend converting back to DX9 until this is fixed.

Edit 3. Nevermind, I started disconnecting again after a few days of no issues. Using DX9 didn't fix it. The strange thing is that at the time of the disconnect my ping stayed a steady 80 ms. I wasn't lagging at all, but suddenly the game just froze and I dc'd. Lobby errors are very common after the 90k errors.

Freaking 90k error everywhere!! I know its not my ISP all my other games are fine!! I love the game but if this continues Im afraid may need cancel my subscription!! Its all good and smooth pre 4.0 what happenedddddddddddddd?

This has just started happening for me over the last 2 days can't play for more than an hour without getting a 90002 or the less common 90001.
Almost guaranteed if I go into a duty.
I've had no issues prior to a couple of days ago since coming back a couple of months before SB released. (Note I skipped EA because I was away so missed all that drama)
I am running a paid network monitor and I never lose internet connection.
Also of note when I get one of these errors if I try to go to the FFXIV forums page at the same time it will fail but all other internet pages, games or web services work fine.
If I try connect back to the game right away it will time out and I will eventually get a 2002 lobby error and have to restart the game completely.
If I wait 3-5 minutes i can just hit OK and log back in normally without closing client.

Just ran brayflox longstop on my alt , and was disconnected by the server 8 times before it ended. I did everything I could think of and it still repeatedly gave me a 90k. Is there no end in sight to this issue? I've been on the more patient side of things compared to most I play with, arguing to give SE a break but come on It's been nearly 2 months.

I keep getting this, from 6:50 to 7:30 (PST). The dissconnection happens as soon as it can dissconnect me.

Honestly it has become worse over the past week? Like, I get Raubahn EX and Pipin Savage were congestion issues but what's the excuse now? I literally can't run content anymore because I WILL 90k somewhere in the run, which is so very often followed by Vote Kicks because some people take ages to get back online, and are also viewed as problem children who will continue to DC. I can't even blame people for vote kicking because at this stage whenever I do 90k I genuinely don't even feel like loading the game back up. Fix your shit and reimburse us all a month free playtime please, you've become some of the worst for actually acknowledging what is tearing your game to pieces.
