Stupid question, just to make sure.
have you done these as admin? as the reason i have done this with chrome in registry is to make sure that EVERY time chrome used, these settings are applied, also it's not in the chrome settings :$.

Yes.. why wouldn't i have done this as admin?
My Post said that i went to change the options but they were already set, so why would i need to be an admin if they were already like that in the first place?

Having this problem since Yesterday morning. Can't stay logged in for more than 20 seconds before 90002 error comes...Been playing non stop since HW and everything was fine, now that only few days left are on my sub ofc i can't play anymore....
Can we get someone from SE to say something about this other than the "turn your router on and off again" crap I've got from support? No-one seems to care that a portion of the player-base are experiencing this error.
A very common cause for this error is the router.
I know, "i never had any problem with my router", "my router is fine"...
Truth is new routers last about 2 years before doing exactly that. Older ones may last up to 5 years.
But don't take my word for it, borrow another router and test it. If you can't, update your firewall and plug the modem to the computer.
When life gives you lemons, cry yourself to sleep, and tell all your friends.

I've seen this issue everywhere online, from people on PC and consoles, all over the world - this is definitely not the problem of individual people's internet, not when the issue is so widespread (one or two maybe, but not thousands). If it were an ISP thing, there would be loads of people offering a working solution, but nothing people have tried has seemed to make it stop. Basically, there are hundreds of threads about this one issue with no answers in sight.
I thought yesterday's maintenance would fix it, but it seems to have made it worse as now I'm getting thrown out every few minutes instead of every 30 mins or longer. Just now was the last straw - got thrown out at the end of a long single player duty for my level 60 class quest and there is no way I'm going back in for fear of 90002 error - also means I can't do the dungeons .
It's looking like I'm gonna have to give up on doing anything significant on this game until it's fixed which sucks coz I was planning on doing an eternal bond in the next few weeks - no way the server is gonna hold for that length of time!
I've been playing the game for over 6 months with no previous error - seems to have been since 3.05 was installed :S my husband is also playing on PS4 and gets d/c'd.
Please fix this squeenix, I love playing this game too much to give it up now! (Lich server btw)
Alright.. since the drop of Patch 3.05, I've gotten like non-stop 90k errors and just substantial amount of difficulty doing anything for more than 10 minutes without it occurring. I've tried multiple routers, called my ISP, have done countless resets on those multiple routers; and nothing is having any effect on the problem.
I think some of your staff should highly look into what you guys did over the Patch 3.05, and maybe the recent hot-fixes, because this problem seems to only be snowballing over itself. Just watching my FC chat alone, I see a good 10-15 people having to reconnect almost every 15 minutes. I've never really had problems like this until literally the most recent patches have come into play. I'd get a little 90k here and there, but this is like a non-stop string of them.
Funny thing, under resolved issues section they have this 90002 error crap down as resolved. Can confirm this is happening very frequently on Zodiark server, and to be honest the lack of dev response is pathetic. Frankly the broke something and don't have a clue what it was. This is frankly ridiculous, and i've heard it won't be properly addressed until 3.1, which has no confirmed date other than Octoberish. Am I the only person, if this is true, that thinks this is total bs?
I've also been getting these issues since Alexander Savage patch, no rhyme or reason to the disconnects, have never had issues since 2.0 launch, internet is perfectly fine otherwise, directly connected to router

Also been having connectivity issues and had been getting 6-20 second lags, then 90k'd, multiple times a night (Hawaii time). At first I checked with my internet provider and will be getting my modem replaced (I'm directly connected via ethernet to my router) so we'll see if it does the trick.
I've been noticing lately that there have been more frequent careless mistakes on SE's part, resulting in weekly (sometimes bi weekly) maintenance, and there being more problems listed after maintenance performed. Makes me wonder if their dev team is not doing so good or they let go a bunch of people and are now understaffed, where minor and major unchecked problems slip through.
Note that I barely had any connectivity problems after 3.0 dropped and the problems started after the 7/27 maintenance.
