    Issue: DCing every instance since Tuesday

    You're probably thinking that it's just me, but once I saw a chunk of a raid (Rabanastre btw) DC at the SAME TIME, I've also been seeing this during the 8-man raids (Even the Savage Raids) lately...so it's not just me. I've rebooted my router AND modem...5 times already and I have also contacted my ISP about connection issues, but everything is working fine. I'm off from work and I want to play...FIX IT!!! Yes, I know the ddos has been an issue, but this should've been fixed by now. We are YOUR customers...YOUR consumers...help us out please? About a year ago at this time, these same issues were plaguing the game btw.

    EDIT: I'm on a WIRED Connection btw

    Hello! I'd like to apologize in advance for poor English grammar.

    Two days ago me and my boyfriend bought FFXIV and we love it! But the 90002 error prevents us from playing it. Yesterday it was bearable, we encountered the error three times (we played for around 4 hours), but today the game was unplayable. My boyfriend gets disconnected after playing for three or four minutes, I get disconnected after around ten minutes. We tried to play since morning, now it's almost 11 PM and we still get DCd.

    We live together, have cable internet and the same ISP. We get disconnected at different times and he encounters the error a lot more often than I do. The game wasn't cheap and I feel like we threw our money away. We can't even refund it via Steam, because we played for more than 2 hours.

    Should I write to the Support? I've read a few threads in the forums and people say that the Support cannot help with this issue and we have to wait for a hotfix. But the threads were from monts ago and the problem still exists. The game is subscription based and I feel like I'm losing money every minute (even though the first month is 'free'). My boyfriend is also losing his vacation days, he won't be able to play the game for more than two hours/day when he goes back to work. I want to play FFXIV, I love it so far and my boyfriend loves it even more! But we can't. Please help.

    (This forum is very slow for me, I have to wait for half a minute when a page is loading. And it logs me out after a few minutes, even when I'm browsing it. Is this also the result of a ddos attack?)

    Hi, I'm a "returner" from about the launch of Heavensward. World Tonberry.
    I keep being disconnected around 10mns after logging.

    I ran a traceroute on an ip for Tonberry I found on another site. Most of the time, everything is fine but i got, 12mn after I started the traceroute, a high percentage of packet loss (reaching 100%) for a few seconds.
    I'm in hk, ISP netvigator, my traceroutes showed the path going through two flagtel.com servers and the packet loss would happen between those two.

    Hopefully this can be fixed shortly because there's no point even trying going into an instance with this issue happening...

    EDIT: So packet loss spikes happens roughly every 700 seconds

    This is more or less what happens to me. I have a constant ping on the command line to the datacenter I play on and it times out for a few seconds then picks back up. Not too sure how to resolve this but I hope SE can do something about it.

    Hello new player here and I am also getting constant disconnects from FFXIV. I noticed that the connection times out at totally random times so I can't determine what causes it. During disconnects my internet stays fine, It is just FFXIV. I hope this gets fixed soon, its fun playing this game but it gets frustrating when you constantly disconnect.

    I'm just adding in my problem. I play on Tonberry (Elemental) from Australia and in the last 2 weeks I have had multiple 90k errors a day. That's not even mentioning the packet loss and just overall bad connection to the game as a whole. My internet is wonderful (by Australian standards, anyway) and never drops out, it's fully on the other side. For instance, I was sending my airships out and I got stuck in the control panel and my character had a DC icon next to the name. I did O3S earlier today and 3 people got hit with 90k errors at the exact same time, and I got hit with such extreme packet loss that 2 phases happened at once after it ended.

    I use a tunneling service, Pingzapper. These problems persist both with and without it. I am unable to play the game at any real level anymore due to the disconnects. Nothing feels worse than sitting in a long queue just to disconnect and lose all of that time waiting. I have all of the materials for my Ala Mhigan Gathering set ready to go but I am so terrified of making it in fear of disconnecting mid craft.

    I realize this is not an SE issue as they aren't the target of the DDOS attack, but this is getting a little bit ridiculous.

    I'm also getting these errors... 90002 & 90001. I'm starting to question if this really is still DDOS, or if its something else. I hope we get some kind of response soon. Love this game but its so frustrating to not be able to reliably stay connected and do the content.

    This has been plaguing me for the past week and change now. Spells not firing off, activating things like Enochian only to have the buff literally never show up, etc. Chat will be working fine, then suddenly, boop, 90k. Extremely frustrating.

    Just got 90k 5 times in a span of 5 mins in a game of Secure. Game is literally unplayable for me at this point. It is not on my end whatsoever; I can load up other online games/applications and they all run without issue. Ping to Aether DC never drops off a single packet even after letting ping command sit running for 5-10 mins straight.
