    I'd just like to point out in this particular topic that 90002 is a client disconnect error - this means that your client closed the connection because of a local network failure.

    Now, this could be your ISP.
    Anybody with 90002 error, I would recommend rebooting your router, switch from wifi to wired and/or calling your ISP.

    Don't be such an SE apologist, it's not an issue on our end, there's too many different routers and ISPs affected for that. It's SE's problem and one they've refused to acknowledge never mind fix.

    I've had this issue since 3.2's launch and I've sent tickets (Which got ignored, not even a single automated response) and I've posted in the correct threads to no avail. There's no SE presence on the issue, there's been no updates and SE are leaving people in the dark because as long as they get out sub money then they don't care. Anybody suffering this issue needs to unsubscribe and send a message to SE that this is unacceptable because they won't care until it affects their profits.

    SE's customer service is the worst I've ever seen. It's basically nonexistent.

    Thank you. I'm so sick of hearing the "It's your router" excuse. I don't get D/Cs with WOW, Steam, Origin, or any other online app. It's just this game. What's going on with their server that it gives our routers issues?

    Trust me I have rebooted the whole Kit and Kaboodle . IF it is my "Local Network Failure" Why do I get the error and my hubby doesn't? We are on the same Network .

    i've been getting them for the better half the day (since 6pm EDT)

    its more or less every time i;m oing into the DF[ Feast ] or using an Atheryte

    (ISP:Comcast Xfinity / Speed: 25down 5Up / Location Michigan USA/ Server: Cactaur / Client version: Windows-Steam)
    Average Ping on tracert path to Server: 48ms Highest: 58ms

    Throwing my hat into the ring that I too am experiencing this problem. I've been through every suggested check on the support articles, have even contacted my ISP just to make sure they aren't restricting the ports that FF14 uses or anything that could otherwise cause this.

    FF14 is the only game/internet service I have which experiences this problem. Some days I can play for many hours and not have a single 90002 error. Other days I'll experience one or two of these errors. Then on some I'll spend up to three hours repeatedly disconnecting, at intervals anywhere from 10seconds to 10minutes, before the issue stops as suddenly as it began.

    For a matter of interest there are two other people in my FC that also experience this issue, both in different countries from me and from each other.

    Nice to hear, that its not only a Problem in Germany, but sad for you guys =/

    I have the same Problem since the 3.2 Patch and 2 of my FC too, but SE also says its a Problem of our Provider =/

    Been playing fine for a very long time, then suddenly after today's maintenance I'm constantly disconnecting. Tried tanking Midas 3 times and all 3 times I lost connection and the raid. This doesn't bode well for my FC and our upcoming raids unless a fix is on the way.

    Its been hitting Primal and Aether Data centers pretty hard

    I have the same issue here. First few days I was playing it was fine. Lately its every few hours. Minus the occasional every 5 minutes. For what I have its as follows:
    ISP:Oceanic Time Warner Cable - Speeds = 300MB download/25 MB upload
    Direct Connected to Modem
    Playing on Windows 7 PC - Not using Steam to run or update
    Modem = Brand New
    Cat 6 Cable = Brand New
    Firewall settings are fine for FFXIV
    Ping time in MS is 44MS average, 48MS Highest
    Server: Adamantoise

    Just to throw my hat in. I have been running packet captures on the connection with just FFXIV and Wireshark running. The issue is not with my computer sending data. Its receiving from the server. Server response after getting my packets will re-transmit quiet often. I have played many MMOs and other games via Steam and some non Steam games. This is the only one I have an issue with.

    Having some issues myself with random DC issues. I get kicked once every 30 - 1 hour ever since the server issues this morning. I assume their servers are massively messing up at the moment and will properly go into emergency maintenance within the next 2 days or so. Still its rather annoying because if i get kicked for a dungeon i'm going to get banned for SE problems. Also I'm on sky broadband and it was working fine till the server issues this morning.
