I've had constant 90002 errors since patch 3.05. I had a few after Heavensward too but it's got so bad lately it's making the game unplayable. I'm on Phoenix and VirginMedia SuperHub 2. Really hope there's a fix for this soon!

Getting the same 90002 error on the Moogle server every few minutes or so. I might take a break from the game until it's sorted, as it's becoming unplayable.![]()
after todays maintenance still nothing's changed (or is there really a maintenance?)
90002 is still happening on my characters in Tonberry & Moogle
Being attacked by 90002 on tonberry since yesterday after maintence it is getting old

Yesterday for 1 hour (around 7pm pdt) I kept getting 90002.

I get same problem. It's the servers guys. They can't handle the amount of people on them so they randomly boot some of us.
What amazes me here is that this BS has been going on pretty much since launch of the game. It's either the regular servers during the peak hours or when new content has been added (so more people login), or its the dungeon servers that lag so much you struggle to complete the dungeon due to AoEs and such.
This has been going on long enough SE! Where is that EU based data center we where promised??
I bet that the Japanese data center servers don't have these problems... (If you live in the area.)
We pay for this SE. Fix it, before people get enough and walk out on you.

The servers have lots of capacity---it is more an issue with the networks we go through to get to them. SE restricts things to keep the concurrent connections in check to try to avoid congestive failure along the network side of things (be that their own, their ISP's, or the exchange points along the way---the problem is more about all the interconnections between us and them then issues with the servers themselves).I get same problem. Get your route analyzed. Time Warner was able to resolve these issues for me a long time ago...and since then any time it tries to rear it's ugly head again, it is Time Warner that fixes it for me again.
fellow 90002-ers,
Just to let you guys know that I've fixed (or maybe altered) my 90002 problem
The problem is my network card.
It's been almost 2 weeks since the 90002 started from the August 4th maintenance and since that date it's been really annoying getting disconnected after every 3-5mins after login. Recently I've installed and tried my FFXIV on my 13" Retina MacBook Pro (via Bootcamp) and it runs fine and smooth under the same internet & wifi and that's what determined that it must have something to do with my PC hardware. My prime suspect is the network card and fortunately I have a spare and I swapped with my current card, started the game and been login in for few hours already without issues.
This may not be certain or accurate, I think the recent FFXIV update/maintenance somehow affects (or maybe hates) my network card very much since that specific network card works just fine on other things except FFXIV.
