    Just turn Parry into a defensive equivalent of determination or something. As it stands, it's pretty silly that it's easy to completely disregard any piece of gear if it contains a specific stat.

    Yea, exactly. Like I said before, it should just be passive mitigation which you can stack. No RNG, better returns.
    100% parry rate by default (if you have any parry) but percent mitigated is determined by stacking parry.

    RNG is ok. I just wish it wasn't so weak and completely useless against magic damage.

    Yea, just like Determination is a lesser version of MND/STR/INT.
    Which is why I was agreeing with Kiteless that it should effectively be a mitigation version of Determination.

    I'm not against RNG. I'm just against the only real mitigation secondary being RNG.
