I'm wondering if people have any useful macro's for DPS in general or Ninja specific, or just quality of life too.

Please help
The only ninja macro I use is for Trick Attack, because I am very lazy and miss looking at when the cooldown is off. All it adds is a sound effect after a minute (when it's off cooldown), so I know to use it again.
Anything else is... not good. I don't use many attack macros on my DPS classes.
For Machinist, I just macro'd together Blank and Foot Graze.
Blank to push them away, Foot Graze to keep them away...mm I think that's it that I have right now, actually.

How do you get your macro to play a sound when it's off cool down? I've tried making them but if I activate another macro it cancels it
That is my macro.Code:/micon "Trick Attack" /ac "Trick Attack" <t> /wait 60 /echo Trick Attack /echo UP <se.6><se.6><se.6>
For ninja I have no other macros so it's never interrupted. I have another like that for my Scholar and Swiftcast... but I do have many macros. I think if you have another /wait, it cancels it out.

I say this everytime this kind of thread pops up: Don't use macros for DPS skills.
Macros are unable to queue and result in fractional seconds of delay; this adds up and reduces your DPS overall.
There's actually a video on youtube somewhere where a mnk demonstrates this with a side by side comparison. The side using macros gets out of sync with the non-macro side to the point where they are substantially behind in the rotation.
Macro's are awful in this game and cause delays. Don't use them for anything other than communication purposes, EG provoking/raising.
I used to use a macro that combined blood for blood and internal release so I could save 1 button of space! But generally yeah they aren't good to use.
I'm using macro for my lancer right now for his 3 skills combo.
Are you guys saying that we should just not use any macros at all ?
Because right now I'm sitting very comfortably just pressing 1 and comboing 3 skills one after another (I'm lvl 28 btw )
Yes, you shouldn't do that.
The reasoning is, you can essentially "queue" skills, so for instance, right before the cooldown is over, you can press the button early and it'll go off ASAP. With macros, you cannot do this. So your combo is fine if you don't mind the DPS loss, but for many it isn't worth it.
Not to mention since the cooldown is 2 and a half seconds... but the /wait commands are every whole second, so you are losing essentially almost one and a half seconds that could've been used to attack, for every single combo. That can add up quickly.
