I'm really starting to get lazy grinding dungeons, just to get 80 lawtomes and repeat the process. The game now is just a repeat of everything we already did. I wish they brought in something new, instead of the: "Hey guys! Here you have a new currency, let's have you grind that for hours to then be done gearing up again! Oh don't worry. You can grind some extra now for a weapon!.

I like the game, but it's just starting to wear me out... I can already imagine the new relic weapon process.

Tomes are how they extend the end game until they can patch in the rest of the story and new, new stuff. How exactly are they to keep up with ppl who break through the expansion in a week?

I just never understood this and I've been playing MMOs for a over a decade. Just..... breathe.... Enjoy yourself, if the grind is wearing you out it's a sign you need to smell the roses a bit. Go to the Gold Saucer, do things just for the hell of it for a while. Not because you feel you have to.

The new expansion only gives you a new story, when you're done with that you are pretty much back the whole: "Hai der tomes. Oh you dps? Let's have you queue for 15min+". It really didn't bring in something new for end game.

It doesn't even take that long to get to 60...Expansion doesn't equal full new game.
I was the slowest into getting a 60 in my friends. Almost 2 weeks.
In his defense, the only 'new' thing was Au Ra and flight.
Everything else is the same stuff. I honestly really enjoyed this expansion for the story. [Surprisingly!]
My advice is quit and come back. Happens. I still wanna tank and dps to 60 so I'm back at FATES and low
level dungeons after a few weeks of 3.0. xD!

I basically said that..... Hence the, smell the roses comment. Play with your friends, go help random newbies. I don't know craft stuff, triple triad until your hands bleed?

Blitzball would be AMAZING.

But that's the thing SE does keep add more quality of life things, entertainment, but there's only so much they can deliver in a span of time. Yet ppl will always complain?!

i personally like it, you have tomes to always grind out for gear, if you want better gear you can do the raid (which only the easy mode is out currently)

i don't see the need to change what works, but not everyone likes the way things work currently.

I log in every day to do the same grindy stuff over and over largely due to the community and friends in the game. That's good enough for me. Do you have a large FC or some Linkshells?

Man I haven't even cared about the new Law tomes since I got all my gear. I've just been focusing on leveling, cause there really isn't much to do, until the next tomes come out.
