What makes you drop a group?

I leave groups when people seem rude and disrespectful. I don't want to run with people who are unable to be pleasant with others. I haven't left in trials unless there is a DC; but for Levelling roulette, I leave immediately on tank or healer if there is someone pulling ahead of me or is being an overall douche.

It is not worth my time to run disrespectful players through a levelling dungeon when I am only tank as an off-spec ><. It's really stressful to tank for disrespectful players and I'd rather have the 30 minute penalty than see them through the dungeon.

Only time Ive ever dropped a group was due to my armor being a 1% and when I was forced to log off.

Usually when my finger can't leave the Cure II button lest the tank immediately dies on the first mob/ boss, and I know they'll never be able to make it to the end. I only tend to leave when I know there's 0% hope of clearing, otherwise I stick it out.

I had to leave an AV run once when my lag was so bad it kept killing everyone, though. I felt awful.

1. people who cant follow instructions even after being repeated multiple times
2. people who insult others or are elitist
3. tanks not asking me if i wanna do speed runs or not
4. people not dodging aoe radiuses
5. dps repeatedly running ahead of tanks even when told to stop
6. wiping repeatedly at a boss over 3 times
7. tank not taking dps gear into consideration doing huge pulls and making the party wipe repeatedly

1-Healers going full dps and forgetting to heal party more than once.
2-Tanks doing a eff huge pull when they're not able to hold aggro/take damage for that second.
3-People going "OH LOL all my gear is broken but who cares"
4-3/more wipes at the same point, specially if coupled with the "LOL f*** gear" from above.
5-Constant afkers

the other dps doing half my dps on the first pull. Doing more DPS as tank or healer than the DPS on the first pull. not worth my time to clear the dungeon when i can do fates instead

I have only dropped a dungeon once, but I will drop if:

1. Someone is being a racist/bully and the other players rather kick out the victim then the offender.
2. There is a side boss that I need and my fellow players do not want to spend few minutes killing it.
3. Majority of the party are very bad, which means kicking a bad player wont help if the other 2/6 partymembers are bad aswell.
4. Alot of players are afk and their group wont kick them out. This happend alot in the Towers.
5. People are trolling, other players wont agree to kick him/her out and we are not able to finish the run without the troll.
6. This has not happen in FFXIV, but it did happen in other mmorpg. When I am in a group of players who are friends/guildmembers/family etc and one of the players has his/her eyes set on the same item as you. Past experiences have taught me that you will be kicked right before the boss. I have been kicked once just before the final boss, so they could invite a guildmember and he/she finish the daily roullete within minutes . The players told me this before I was kicked, I did report them tho. This is why I am wary when I join a group of players who are from the same guild.

That's basically stealing from you the way I see it, I've heard of this quite a few times before and if it happened to me I'd make a hell of a lot of noise about it (name and shame them anonymously elsewhere, etc). They're basically giving the time and effort you invested to someone else. And telling you doesn't make it nicer, they could have given you the option in that case, not that you'd have a good reason to take it, vs forcing you out. People who do that should be suspended for a long time IMO, and if they're dumb enough to talk about it in party chat or FC/LS chat between each other 'lets kick so ____ can join' then the GM's can see that discussion even if you can't. Only situation where it would be harder to prove is if they were using VOIP and decided to do it verbally without typing anything.
