I had the same issue as you, I had always played as a healer since the ps4 beta and I wanted to try tanks with the new expansion (DRK hype train I know) I had a lvl 50 warrior and also a low lvl gladiator but I was always afraid of end game content, never did a coil or an ex primal with my tank just dungeons. I then decided to change my attitude and started my DRK at 30, I screw up many times and after getting to lvl 60 I know that even if you watch a guide without practice it can still be a mess.

So just keep practicing and don't be afraid, I went to the The Fractal Continuum yesterday for the first time and on the last boss we wiped like 4 times, even a healer raged quit, I told them at the beginning of the dungeon that I was new there, people are usually nice with you and they will explain the mechanics, now that boss is like a second nature. Dont be afraid we always make mistakes the idea is to learn from them.

PS. Kudos for being a Lala tank

Be able to think on your feet.

Know your abilities and cool downs.

If you've got a group of friends that are understanding, try to do content without looking at videos to build raid awareness.

Build up your raid awareness and maintain it.

Know when you're able to push for more damage while MTing.

Lose the ideal of perfection, as you'll have to make up for the mistakes of your other team mates to some degree.
