The content of FFXIV, i.e. the story, quests, and design, are rated Teen.

The online content, which is essentially everything else (being online, interacting with other players, etc) is "Not Rated", which is actually considered worse than Adult Only, because at least AO has been rated. It's like credit ratings... it's better to have bad credit than no credit.

Very, very wrong. The online content which is considered 'not rated' specifically refers to interactions with other players.

if that's the direction Mabinogi's devs decided to take their game, then so be it. like you said it is impossible to completely get away from toxic elements of a community. hence why my original comment was non-serious, because this topic is non-serious (though people can and will take it seriously.)

seeing how the mods took down the last thread, it doesn't seem to be the way they want to take this game.

Thank you. That was the point I was tying to make with my post, but apparently, it didn't get across.

And as an off topic to the "SE moderation is in the same vein as Nexon NA." post, there was a lot of mess going on with Nexon that had a lot more to do than just the GM's being off 1-2 days. >.>
The worst I've seen of SE that can be considered comparable to Nexon in moderation is the gold seller calls and some trolling in shout.
