QoL for Idyllshire

So, they just announced in the Live Letter, that they will somehow be addressing Idyllshire. Using mounts, possibly placing an aetheryte crystal in the hinterlands, etc.

I would like to suggest that, since we already know they can do this to other zones, they implement instances for Idyllshire! I am assuming Idyllshire will follow similar upgrades as Mor Dhona did in 2.0 and will be the main congregation point of 3.0 end game. Main reason would be to help visual performance in the area. I don't have the best computer, but its certainly not bad by any means. I can get 60 or higher fps everywhere but this zone. Come downs to so many people loaded into such a small area.

I don't see any downside to this. You might not be able to get into the same instance as a friend but you can just leave and change instance if needed.

For people that say "get a better PC". I'm running a R9 290, 8core 4.7ghz AMD, 16GB 2400mhz ram, and using a SSD, I am also using dx11 at 1080p.

Mounts would not, no mount in Idyllshire please.

Well mount in Idyllshire will just be like mount in Mor Dhona : find a spot and show your rarest mount

i7-4820k, 64GB DDR3, SSD & CF R9 290 (x2) running at 1920x1200 and I got a drop to 15fps in Idyllshire. Maximum fps there and Mor Dhona is about 20fps when congested.

I really don't know what kind of rig I'd need to hit 60fps there... Maybe quad FuryX on i7-5960x? -_-

And make the city much bigger or something would help. I still think they should have connect ydillshire to the hinterlands, people would have spread more.

Oddly enough, Idylshire runs great on PS4, way better than Mor Dona ever was.

btw idc about your FPS.
making the end-game city instanced would bring way worse issues than your FPS drop.

set your 'display limits' to minimum it'll give you like 30+fps extra...does for me anyway..but then again my cpu is trash

Just put more of the vendors for all the various items in Ishgard, encourage people to go to different zones. I'd rather not be hanging out in Idyllshire anyway!

Make it so you can exit to dravanian hinterlands via aethernet like you can from the city-states.

1. Click on aether crystal
2. Select aethernet.
3. Choose between exit dravanian hinterlands east or west.
