Party TP Bar - Follow up question to Live Letter

In the recent live letter the following was stated,

"Q79. How is the feature to see our party members' TP coming along?

A79. We're currently working on this so that memory is not completely consumed, and we're planning to just show the bar, not a value. We're aiming to implement this in Patch 3.1."

My question is, will we be given an option to hide the bar if we do not wish to see it?
As a healer I don't even want to see other players MP bars/secondary bars at all, unless you are my fellow healer. Otherwise it's just an eye sore and adds to the clutter. So making the TP bars visible for all by default, would make me really sad.

This is my personal preference as a player because I enjoy the least amount of clutter in my UI and an extra bar just adds a distraction =P. So if others feel the same, please consider adding an option to hide the TP bar. My dream would be for you to add the ability to hide any of those bars... but I won't be picky. I just don't want anything additional to be added without an option to take it away.

I FULLY support them adding the visibility of TP bars. I think it is very helpful, but not for everybody. So I am only looking for some support on the fact that it is unnecessary to force UI components onto the player base that will find it :nothing: but an eye sore. Thus, a show/hide function would be very much appreciated by many. ^.^

On one hand I agree. If I had a smaller screen no way I'd want more bars on it. On the other hand, the added information could be useful in the long run. Either way. I agree there should be a hide/show option.

Yeah, I totally feel the same way. I can totally understand why people want the bar. I just really hope they see that there are equally a player base that does not. Hide/show option is essential. Imo of course XD

In the meantime, you can use the < tp>(without spaces) command in a macro to let people know when you're low on TP.

More information isn't a bad thing, and if you play astro then TP is important to know. I can see where you're coming from though.

Screen clutter is why it wasn't there in the first place, though...
I'd rather see everything. An option to toggle would be nice, but...

I guess I'm just used to wanting to see everyone's TP and MP.
