This question did not come up in the producer letter, which concerns me somewhat.
While i understand the reasoning behind why those dungeons do not give exp, i find it to be severely restrictive, certainly to within my own play style.
I enjoy horizontal progression, and am happy to take advantage of that within this vertical MMO. I'm not hugely obsessed with Alexander. Heck, i haven't even beaten Twintania yet.
I want to level every single class up to level 60, and enjoy the different class roles along a variety of content, without putting too much attention into the extreme level newest epic stuff.
The fact is that with FATES being nerfed, and leves being made more of an afterthought than ever by having the hub be only in the city, dungeons are the only really solid way to level. I don't mind dungeons, really.
What i do mind is having to repeat the same damn dungeon over and over again to level up when there's a couple dozen quality ones sitting there from the 2.x patch series totally wasted right now.
People that want to race to level 60 as fast as possible will still do the 3.0 level 57, and 59 dungeons primarily because they give enough more experience to be better exp per hour. Enough is enough though. The level 51, 53, and 55 dungeons are a pointless rinse and repeat for that level range when there is over 2 dozen excellent contents to play for the exp grind from the 2.x series. They should be sprinkled in, not made to be the sole method.
That's why i am sitting here right now against an invisible wall, thinking, wtf do i do now? Go outside and enjoy the sunshine? BLASPHEMY!
I guess i could start on my crafting and gathering, and maybe i will at some point, but i really want to just rock the level 50 dungeons for a while and get all my battle classes from 50 to 55~56ish on those contents, with the first 2 or 3 heavenward dungeons sprinkled in.
That's all i want.

3 or 6 months from now my life will probably be in a whole different place, and i won't have as much time, if time at all to play this game. My time to enjoy it is now, not later. When is this happening? When is this artificial uselessness of such a wealth of quality content going to get the simple fix it needs? The decision to make gear drops in these dungeons useless when there was no real need to do that defies logic itself, but that's a whole 'nother discussion. Just put some exp in these places please, even just 200k per run.
