Damn...who else wished for Q62 to be a thing?

Just in case somebody missed it:

Q62. Similar to the glamour system, can you make it so we can change the appearance of our companion chocobo to look like a different mount?

A62. We would have to create attacks and healing actions for every mount, so this would be difficult.


I know first world problems...but I'm thinking it would be so damn cool to have Behemoth, Twintania or Midgarsomr fight by your side lol. Imagine if they ever implement the possibility to queue in ARR content (or HW once it gets outdated) with your chocobo companion, you'd be able to run through these dungeons with the companion of your election with the undersized party feature. Might just be me though and rest of the people couldn't care less about this :*. Anyhow...it's a shame because given Yoshi's response it doesn't seem like it's gonna happen (they have mount designs already though, would creating a very slight autoattack animation and a simple generic aura on all foes while casting really that complicated?), the skills could be exactly the same as the default chocobo ones, no need to create a different set of skills for each mount... (just renaming them to more generic skill names so that they can fit in every mount, eg. choco cure could be just cure...you definitely don't want to see behemoth going around casting choco cure as it would look silly).
