    Because people are lazy. And among all 3 Tanks, Pal is the laziest, cheesiest and easiest tank to tank and heal out there.

    Well... it's true. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Paladin is the stone from which all other tanks will ultimately carved be evaluated based on. And having such an easy to play, accessible standard to work with helps to make the tanking role, which has been often neglected by many players, much less frustrating to get into.

    That said, there comes a problem when a class as simple as PLD is better than another tank in every conceivable way that matters, especially if that tank requires a much higher level of execution to play at an appreciable level. This happened with WAR in 2.0, and now DRK in 3.0.
