So in today's live letter, this was mentioned:

Q30. Is the Iksalion that appears in the Fractal Continuum related to the Ixal? If so, is the Ayatlan they are searching for during the beast tribe quest actually the floating continent Azys Lla?

A30. Azys Lla, Azyslan, Ayatlan... Talking about it too much would take the fun away from it, so I think I’ll leave it at that. By the way, if you go and talk to a certain NPC in the Ixal beast tribe quest area after clearing this, their dialogue will change. There are a lot of other examples of this, so be sure to check out various NPCs.

Then in a later response:

Q46. Can you tell us about the new 24-man raid?

A46. It’s still a bit too early to discuss this. We’ll be releasing some information during the Letter LIVE that takes place during the 2 year anniversary stream. There is a hint hiding in something I said earlier.

Are we going to Ayatlan for the new 24 man raid? What are you thoughts?

I don't have the live letter responses thread up, so I can't quote which one it is, but someone also asked about the "UFO" you can see in Sea of Clouds, to which the response was something to the effect of "This will be explained in 3.1".

Pretty sure this "UFO" will be the new 24-man raid. Whether it's the alluded-to Ayatlan, we'll see! I like the Azys Lla connection though, so we'll just have to wait! I think these three responses are all pretty closely related.

I discounted it due to the fact that "no comment" isn't really a hint of anything. The statement said "There is a hint in something I said earlier."

Information Panel: Exhibit VII: The Iksalion - A highly intelligent construct employed by Allagan engineers to perform maintenance tasks. Notable flaws include a weakness against the elements and certain genetic instabilities.

It seems like the Allag made the Iksalion @ Azys Lla. In fact they may have made all the beastman.

What we do know is an Emperor is on a floating continent that houses the Warring Triad, looking to harness the magical power of Primals.... You can't deny Kefka's Tower you make a good 3, full party, raid dungeon. The old FFVI dungeon required three groups to work together in order to finish it.

As for the UFO, well there has be suggestions that it's related to the reveal at the end of the MSQ.
