Unable to use actions after interacting with NPC

Area and coordinates: Fallgourd Float 24, 22 (Ehcatl area)

Steps:
1. Spoke with the NPC Yazel Ahuatan the Able and selected the small talk option.
2. No dialogue appeared, but the game acted as though I was in conversation. I could move around but not de-select the target, use any actions, teleport, return, or log out. However, everything else was functioning normally leading me to believe it wasn't simply lag on my end.
3. Tried to fix the issue by running to the zone border but it did not allow me to change zones, instead I was able to run outside the usual map boundary.
4. Fixed the issue by force-closing the game.

Not sure how to find my system information, sorry.
