Thread: Patch 3.1 will be insane(ly awesome)

I'd be pleased with the so called TP bar without any numbers. Just something for people to look at so they know I, or someone else, needs TP. Been getting a lot of Ninjas asking me if DRK's ever need TP, to which the answer is always "Well, sometimes we do!" XD

All in all, a lot of good stuff to look forward to!

Just sounds like more of the same thing we've gotten for the last year so no not very awesome. Really hope they step it up and actually deliver some interesting new content with some horizontal progression to alleviate the constant gear treadmill of tome grinding for new gear and bleeding eyes.

After the first good impression about huge zones and new jobs, it seems the expansion brought barely more than a big patch.
There's nothing really new, and those 3.1 notes just sound like this feeling won't change anytime soon.

I doubt real horizontal progression will make a comeback anytime soon. Without things like set bonuses and unique effects from gear, there's little to no need for any further horizontal progression than they already have.

Like I said, Affro hair, Vanu dance, Haurchefaunt minion.

Okay seriously we will get "something new" like we did in the 2.x cycle. Yoshie did mention new GC content and new content for Chocobos and Magitech armor.

But before that we will have 3.1 with several quality of life improvements and small treats for fans. Who knows we might get a cool new GS feature in 3.1 Snowboarding and Blitzball are both likely to hit during the 3.x cycle

Also quite possibly EU Data Center, don't forget the EU Data Center ;_;

I'm curious how the Retainer Job system will work.

A part of me hope that there is a side-story quest covering our retainers becoming their Job but that just wishful think and most likely they will just be some simple put a Retainer "Job" Soulstone into their slot.

PS was hoping there would be word on Hildibrand Season 2.

I believe there were enough hints if one of the quest chains was giving me the hints I thought it was.
