i will just refer you to my already stated comment.

80% of the questions were pathetic. I feel the amount of crying over dumb stuff is honestly going too far with this game and the DEV team. Yoshi has listened too much their players and has tried to satisfy even the silliest caprices from this community. This however, is proving to be a double edged sword because the FFXIV community is literally turning into that obnoxious and noisy spoiled kid that doesn't accept a "no" as answer.

agreed OP...
that dragoon one was dumb and irrelevant. the positionals are fine, the problem is that the two abilities are identical and provide no incentive to have both.

1)I agree the questions were pathetic.
2) its been stated before (on mobile can't find source) that the player base is indeed mostly casual now which is where the needy requests come from.
3)It's only going to get worse from here on out.
Idk how ppl got to 3.0 without understanding and accepting the concept of
- there will be quests tht will require u to do more than the average point A -> B/ i spy quests.
- there will be glamour that will be difficult to get
- dps will require more than just pressing 1 2 3 till the boss is dead
Etc lol
I never played an mmo before but i easily learned this on my 1st few days of playing 2.0 release.

This happened with my last MMO. People continually wanted everything made easy. Content all needed to he soloable, while giving out the top raid rewards. The entire game became soloable, including 12 man raids. Now the game has to close servers and fire staff because it's failing.
The lesson is that people don't know what they want. If you dont have challenging content, people beat everything quickly and move on. There is also no reason to even try interacting with others and building a community when you can do it all alone. If you hand out top rewards for no effort, everyone has everything and there is nothing left to play for. Even WoW was losing a ton of players when they started down this path (according to my brother, I never played it) and then rebounded with the latest expansion.
I really hope these devs realize this.

Well, WoW never rebounded. It's still losing players. The Asian player base in particular has mostly abandoned it by now. The western trend of accessibility tends to be in contradiction to Asian MMORPG tastes. This happened with my last MMO. People continually wanted everything made easy. I hope so to :S
this is bunk, most people have a good idea what they want, there are just lots of different kinds of people when you have a population in the 6 digits of varying age and background.

Then why are MMOs failing when they cater to this crowd? They are catering to the majority according to all that go this route.
It's really not that hard to understand, I even explained it. You may think you want everything easy, but you aren't realizing that this leaves you with nothing to work towards. This is basic human behavior. It's why they even have a saying for it. "Careful what you wish for...", "The grass is always greener", etc... Did these zayings come about because everyone knows what they want? Nope...
