    So... Im lost

I have no idea what to do from here -.- I've done some Leves, gathering, and crafting. Lost at trying to figure out how to upgrade gear and if there are any group dungeons or what at my lvl. *sobs* Any vets willing to lead a total noob in the right direction?

There are a lot of guides out there for leves, for solo grinding and party grinding. There are quests in every city that award a lot of SP. As you rank up you can meet other people, join a LS, do dungeons...

I think there is a LOT of content out there right now for people that are just starting.

Try YG.com or simply google what i mentioned above.

Try and get to every camp in every area, etc..

First thing you need to do...Decide if you like this game enough to go to lvl 50.

Second thing you need to do if the answer is yes...Find yourself a good linkshell on Besaid. There are world specific forums here, on zam.com, on yg.com, and I believe Eorzeapedia.com.

For upgrading gear, your best bet is to visit the market wards of the still-centralized Ul'dah city, as that's where the majority of people will be selling their wares.

I'd be happy to personally help, if you re-rolled Lindblum though. ^^

    Good Luck!

Uldah is the only really populated city, so if the websites turn up empty you can always resort to shouting there.

Keep in mind, its an ever evolving MMO. You do not have to be in any hurry. I recomend leveling a few Dow/m classes and get the fell on the one you prefer. Do behest at the aetherites, your leves, and any quest you see to help earn equipment and cash. It will also lure you into a little lore, and help you learn the maps better.

yellow gremlin has a list of items, gear, and maps. It could be a helpfull site. I can craft a good bit of low and medium level gear. I see you are on besaid. Feel free to look me up in uldah, I would be more then glad to assist. I am leveling up goldsmith, and I am known to give out alot of free jwelry to newbies, while I am mass crafting them to level.

Thanks Coglin, I'm lvling Goldsmithing too =D I've been doing leves and working on my mining and smithing, i will probably pick up blacksmith just so i can make the copper rings to keep me going in my main profession. Anyways it being an ever evolving MMO, that's a good thing and i like the fact that I'm lost, makes me feel like I'm being push to explore and learn how to play. I hate jumping into any game, but especially an MMO and know exactly what I'm doing and how I'm gonna get to my goals. I love the new feel :P

In my mind, having a non-dead linkshell or two is vital to feel like there's people still in the game.

And since you're on Besaid... *does an evil laugh while baking chocobo cookies waiting for new items to come out*
