Tips healing A4 on astro

As title said. I have no issue healing A4 until the last phase where healers spread and get the debuff on them. ATM the debuff is ticking me for 3k+ and I literally have to spam benefic 2 to heal ( my benefic 1 only heals for 1.5-2k with ilvl 173 ). So while I'm trying to keep myself up, raid dmg is going on and tank buster is going out. Also, I go oom extremely easy if I have to rez someone since each time I cast it, it is about 20% of my max mp ( rez cost 2.6k and I have a mp pool of 12.9k ). Any tips for astro would really help. I used to mained whm and after seeing how they changed whm, I'm thinking of coming back to it.

You and/or your partner should apply regens to both healers. Either Regen+Medica2 or Aspected Benefic+Aspected Helios works fine.

With this you should only need some Benefics while you have 5-4 stacks and once it reaches 3 it should calm down again.

Should also try to avoid doing any soaking of orbs or lines while the Judgment debuffs are up as well. Tends to be extremely dicey if you aren't prepared to Tetra/Bene/Lustrate/Dignity the likely 10k+ damage you'll be taking in a short timespan.

Everyone needs to remain spread as well; practically all the raid damage splashes around targets.

What if my parter is a sch? My aspected benefic isn't going to help much against the ticks

Don't forget Synastry, it is a key skill that we used to clear A4. We had two ASTs and just alternated casting synastry on the main tank during those moments, he never dipped into a dangerous zone. Also if you pull a Spear card, spread it and cast it before using Luminiferous Aether so its back off cool down ASAP. Cast Ewer on yourself or the other healer along with Time Dilation to save them as much MP as possible.

Imo ur gonna have to learn how to carry. A4 in df is a nightmare & ofc there WILL be mistakes made, which will drain ur mp.
I was at i171 on my astro when i beat a4 but tbh it was pretty hard, harder than the occasional ravana ex party. I just couldn't stand it so i took matters into my own hands and solo 1 set of orbs/ do tether laser if near me while keeping up tanks during busters and healing myself / co healer. Was i oom? No but really close. I couldn't count on my party to get orbs/ a tether during phase 3.

So before a tether laser shot me i'd use aspected benefic with noct stance to act as a shield before casting benefic on my self to heal the judgement tick. Once orbs spawn, judgement debuff should be gone by then so i'd aspect myself eat 1, benefic 2 eat 1 aspect ben, eat 1 while saving essential for tanks and casting synastry on co healer while healing tanks.

My cards were alright i'd save ewer combo for my co healer so they can power heal party.

Ur gonna have to trust them for shielding ppl at the right times cuz thts their job to shield and heal. If they can't shield anyone when its really needed then imo u have all the rights to go noct and overwrite their shield.

Ugg I hate overtime work. My static has cleaned Alex already and as of yet the fights in heavensward has not really been hectic for healers. I heard 4th floor was a real eye opener for healing.

It's not hard, but you can't let people hang out at 5k health like you can in a lot of other fights. The boss WILL pick them for laser.
