Playing with Friend, Server Full

Hey, all,

I'm on the Leviathan server, and really don't want to leave it-- I like my FC, linkshells, etc. My friend just purchased FFXIV and wants to play with me. However, it won't let him create a character on Leviathan.

Do slots open up with regularity? Is he more likely to get in if he/we pay to transfer an already existing character to Leviathan? Or, am I stuck leaving my community in-game and transferring myself if I want to play with him?

Try between 1 and 4am pacific. Otherwise your only other option is immediately when the servers come up post-patch.
