I have played marauder a bit, but I prefer the damage mitigation of the paladin. I just want the paladin to have a little more dps so it can be more useful. That is all, is 10 potency such a big and unfair change to you? I didn't ask for a 50 or 100 potency change. I am fine playing defensively as a tank as buffs are my favourite aspect of the FFXIV. The potency changes are justified as they will give you a little more dps to more easily deal with solo content and to help with raid wide damage a little bit. I don't intend for the paladin to have the same dps as a warrior as they would be op then. Fight or Flight only lasts 30 seconds where it has a 90 second cool down while the warrior can have a 25% damage increase all the time with maim and deliverance. A few modifications to make their new buffs easier to use is not going to make them op. Besides, don't you realize that Divine Veil can be accidentally canceled out if another person casts a healing ability after Divine Veil goes up on everybody.
