    I like these ideas but I'm thinking more of the current hunt system. I just think the HP needs to be increased in some way or another to account for everyone 1) being way overgeared for the level 50 hunts, and 2) the fact they are continously zerged.

    the hp trouble come from the fact you have not enough prey for all the hunter per server, that all! why people are soo eager to hunt them? because it's the only way to gather seal as much as you want. and that the main error of SE, make the infinite seal come from only one source. if they had used the fate already present they will have solve the trouble looooong ago!

    other solution was to use the leves system for make people spawn them own prey to hunt in the area with only information like: "it's in the hinterland, find it before it disappear!"

    they don't need to change the hp, but make people spread throught content, less hunter will solve the trouble. increase hp will solve nothing! it's not different of the band aid.

    the solution is to stop the zerg, for stop the zerg they need to add other way to gather seal as good than rank A and S, like this people will do different content depending of what they prefer.

    more option is the only solution!!!

    It will solve it if the HP is determined in a set way. The hunts can't be zerged if 100 people killed it beforehand and the HP is set based on that. It would give people a chance to actually get to the hunt. Also a good idea though.

    they had a system before (dunno if the NDA concerning the previous beta is still on) anyway, this system was too heavy for the server and was creating major trouble. that why we have now a system that adapte FATE difficulty depending of the previous one participation.

    that why they can't really do this for Rank A and S, since some can take a few hours or day before respawn, meaning if not enough person is there for do it, this rank A or S will never be killed, before another zerg come.

    like said the trouble of the hunt is simply to have too much people do the same activity into the world. instead to go with a solution for spread player throught the content, they have choose the easy way to implement but the worst one in terms of balance. do they can solve the trouble of the rank A and S die too fast because of the zerg? nope, impossible, like i have explain in another thread, even place a system that will increase the hp of the monster is not a solution. since tank and healer will not deal the same amount of damage than a dps, then how decide how much one player is worth in term of hp boost?
    and even like this, it will kill the main goal of the hunt, Rank A was means for a group of 4-8 player and Rank S for a group of 16-24 player. (depending of the gears and chocobo)

    oh by the way, the chocobos! i did forget them, each chocobo are considered like a member of a team, for make simply like a player for the game.... meaning they will increase the hp boost.

    it's not without reason that they haven't implemented it.... because how balance it?

    ps: believe me i did wait the hunt, but what we did get was not what i was expecting, i did hope that they will release a content that will have rivalize with raid in terms of activity, meaning player will have choose to do hunt or raid or both! but will have get a progression throught this! the main forte of the mmorpg, is the world, sadly soo far we are all into a tunnel with one main activity!
