    They could just take the easy way out.
    Allow blm to cast fire IV and blizzard IV without enochian.
    We still want enochian up for the damage boost but if it run out because of mechanics and movement. we lose 5% damage instead of 40-50%
    The rotation dont change. Firestarters and thundercloud are worth using again.

    While i think that would be really fun- I also feel it would put us in the OP side of things. There must be a way to make thunder(cloud)s worth it again. Thunder 3 is like my favorite looking spell- never using it is quite depressing.

    It wouldn't make black mage op because on a dummy, BLM is up there with drg, smn, ninja and monk. It would just make BLM not lose 40-50% dps when you have to do mechanics while not changing the 3.0 rotation at all.*Too bad the devs don't read the english forum.

    I guess that is true. I mean I see what their intention with Enochian was- but it seems to be poorly thought out in the grand scheme of things- punishing BLM's for following raid mechanics is not the way to go about things.

    Couldn't it just be affected by Astral Fire and call it day? If not full but 50%, 75%? Since a lot of them appear during Astral Fire and not Umbral Ice.

    I feel that they should bring Thunder spells more in line with the other two. T1 is fine how it is, but T2 is just adding a few seconds and not really much potency, and T3 is only good when you've got a proc. In my mind T1 should have T2's potency, T2 gets T1's old potency but is now AOE, and T3 has a diminishing return based duration like Enochian.

    That could work given a few small tweaks I suppose! It's sure better then how it works now.
