Honestly it should be three different attacks for 90 potency each, each restoring mana with no Dark Art thing.

I'd honestly rather it stay the same than be a carbon copy of dream within a dream. We'd be better off getting Blood Weapon usable with Grit than trying to turn Carve and Spit into a permanent MP battery move. Honestly I'd rather see the MP regeneration replaced with TP regeneration altogether. Its tiring having to spam Unmend when I run out of TP.
