It seems a lot of people in my LS don't even visit the lodestone. I am usually the one keeping them up to date with whats coming. Maybe I should blackout and just play too [=

MAGIC MUSHY ROOMS
I like them except for the fact that they are fat. The weapons need to be slightly thinner...
I also never lookup quests, I like stumbling on them. Oh I am a rank 47 finding a rank 11 quest - its good it just encourages me to explore
MAGIC MUSHY ROOMS
Is that what I said?
No, I suggested that you should go away because no matter what SE does you will always find something to complain about, and no matter how negligible your gripe may be, you will treat it as the be all end all. Because deep in your mind you know you will be in the extreme minority, so you must be as loud and obnoxious as possible in an attempt to create the illusion that you few are many.
You, and others like you, are what I like to call the P&M Club. The Piss and Moaners. Because that's all you do. You do it because for whatever reason, you want the rest of the world to be as miserable as you are.
Im actually thinking of never coming back tbh. Most people are assholes and I get spoiled too much. And besides, I'm not the type of guy who wants to have my input in the game. I play games as I enjoy music and movies, it would be absurd to send a letter saying how I would want my music etc. If you dont like it then dont play it.
Some people look at games as entertainment, I try to look at it as art.
As soon as all these dummies starts complaining over a game, shit can get bad quick. Just stick to your idea S-E.
Nobody on these forums (probably) knows how to create a game of this large scale anyways.
Depends on how you look at it I guess.
Yes on the Lodestone, which isn't in-game.
It's not that there's a problem with any of this content(I think it's all great) as much as it's a problem with the inconsistent story-telling. All of a sudden, a massively huge game-changing system(materia and jobs) are introduced out of nowhere through some random character or group of characters who "brought the secrets of a forbidden art back to Eorzea"? There's only so many times you can rely on that plot device before it becomes non-nonsensical and dumb(that number is zero times btw), and I can't really see how they're going to introduce something huge like jobs without taking a chainsaw to the already established lore. I'll be the first to admit that I don't play Final Fantasy games strictly for the story as I love intricate game systems, but a dyslexic story in any medium should be jarring as hell to anybody.
Everyone does. Or should. Because no game is ever perfect. No, I suggested that you should go away because no matter what SE does you will always find something to complain about
Does that mean we shouldn't criticize any of it? Because there will always be more things to criticize? That is what got us into this situation in the first place. What I said is exactly what you suggested.
Whether people agree with me or not is their own business.
But let's cut the bullshit: You said what you did because you don't agree with me but had nothing to actually contribute. Trying to rationalize it is a hopeless endeavour because there is nothing to rationalize. You acted solely on emotion.
the goblin bringing it makes sense, since goblins just started to appear again. Jobs will probably be explained through their respected quests and companies or guilds. I do not see how those are lore breaking. Your problem is you got in before these major changes. Think of the new people they are hoping to capture when they join it (should) make perfect sense in-gameYes on the Lodestone, which isn't in-game.

A band you like releases several successful albums, and when they announce a new one, you already know you're going to buy it sight unseen. Why wouldn't you? You've been listening to this band since you were a kid!
But once you buy it and give it a listen, you see they've decided to record the album in a different style, and with all their instruments out of tune. How would you feel?
SE is getting back in tune with what the fans want. That's what's happening here.
But you're right about the people on these forums. Some of them will never be happy.
The Ifrit weapons look amazing and they have a distinct Monster Hunter feel to them (esp the Bow) - I keep expecting to see some Ifrit Armor as well lol.
That said, considering the current design path of the game, they seem out of place at this point.
My instincts say that lvl 50 is too low for stuff to look like this.
But who knows what they have planned...
