hyperelectricity weather in Azys Lla?

Has anyone else realized there is a new weather condition in Azys Lla?

The weather spawned at roughly 4pm ET (ingame time), and free company member's said there was a guy on the main ship of Azys Lla shooting Lazers.

The weather lasted for roughly 5 real life minutes (1.5 hours ingame time). (x22, y25).

Will try and get a screenshots from those that actually saw it.

any clue what this is? apparently the 'figure' was a cross between ultima and behemoth.

It's for the Proto Ultima FATE, just like Royal Levin for the Coeurlregina.

It means the Prey Online fate is starting.

A lot of people seem to think that when the weather ends, the fates end, but those fates last much longer than the weather does. The weather will change the moment proto ultima, who is actually flying around in the air all over the map shooting stuff down at crap, warps away through a portal in the sky.

If you see that weather, just mount up and start checking every island for a hidden fate. You may even see proto ultima flying by ever so graciously. (I saw him hop away through a portal right infront of me)

As for how the fate works, it's confusing and a lot of people don't seem to understand how it works beyond the first part of it. But basically, 2 fates will spawn on the map at once, where you fight Rafflasia from T6, Avatar from T8, or Melusine from T7 (Possibly with the chance of getting different bosses too, have no idea) but you need 2 groups to split up and do them both at once, or zerg 1 after the other before the timer ends. Each one gives you a set amount of proto ultima plating.

Beyond that however, I have no idea yet. Don't know if it's like the pre staged fates for Coeurlregina that signal that the actual big fate is coming up soon, or if you just cant actually fight proto ultima yet.

This is the first time our server has witnessed this, and did not realise there was a hidden fate that spawned, so we missed the whole fate

I have not even gotten to think about doing that. I have been spending all my time gearing for Alexander and now it is done...bleh.
Hopefully Alex Savage is much harder but at least doable.
