Anything can happen when characters move outside the confines of the story.

I didn't ship them, but I did like their "buddy cop" dynamic, if you will. I still wish there was a moment where they had to stay behind to fight off a horde of enemies while "accidentally" getting too close to hitting each other.

Not going to lie, there's no way Ysayle is dead dead. She's going to come back in two or three patches, and she's going to be the key to helping Estinein free himself from Nidhogg. It'll make the dragon beatable. Then they decide it should be them to finally end the Dragon Song War, become Anima, and drag Nidhogg to hell. Then we tear up because they have to remain there to ensure he never comes back, and while they'll never say it, it'll be ok because they have each other.

I believe he was mostly annoying because of the dragons eye. I think it was trying to take control over him for 24/7 which probably made him so... bi*chy.

Honestly, I found her death pretty weak, aside from the fact that Hrasvelgr did nothing to help, her sacrifice was ultimately meaningless. The Garleans still landed there and we even had to fight Hydrus twice. Not to mention, unlike Estinien for example, her sacrifice didn't feel like a natural progression of her story. I mean, she gets stomped by a true Primal (thought that would be a plot point), finds out that she doesn't actually channel the real Shiva, learns just how deep Hrasvelgr's hatred for Elezens, begins work to end the war on the Heretic's side...and then shows up out of nowhere and dies. Maybe my expectations were too high, I dunno, but it seemed like a waste of yet another character that I actually found endearing.
