Thread: It's about time to add Coil story mode, isn't it ?

It's been a long time since we first asked for it. A version of the coil which would only serves the purpose of giving the story to players.

=> no loot at all
=> eased version compared to normal (less damage, few to none OH-KO moves)
=> does not grant access to the next normal coil


The way I'd see it is a release "for the story" 3 month after the new coil is added (adapt to future raids we get). It would allow people with no will/no time to find a team/do raid to enjoy the story stuck behind those doors.


The release should be as follow :

=> new raid, normal difficulty and all
=> 3 month after, at next patch, the story mode opens for those who did not manage to win the last part of the raid. Winning a story floor does not allow to enter a "normal" floor after. As an example, T6 story mode would not unlock T7 normal mode but only T7 story mode.

=> 3 month after, new raid. The story mode of the old raid doesn't grant access to the new one. As an example, T9 story mode doesn't grant access to T10 normal mode. You'll have to wait 3 month to get the T10-... in story mode to progress in the story.



Please let us enjoy the story you create, for those among us who couldn't care less about the stuff or those who just can't complete the requirements

sadly it isn't. Just have to look how much of a failure can be a T5 with randoms

If they do that I fear i'd loose interest in coil, and in the game in general

not for you (and prolly not for me either if I had the time/dedication to have a group to do it with my odd schedule and my lack of motivation to have fix hours to raid) but there are a lot of people who are stuck in coil.

Or you can just check youtube for cs/story.

Obviously not ppl cant beat turn 5 with the echo buff

What good would that do to kick people that suck? What if the people that suck are fc mates , friends or rl friends you'd be denying them the chance of beating it. And again its obviously not easy to get a t5 win if alot of people still cant get a win

Some of us have kids and jobs and don't have more than say an hour a day to play. It's not always possible to do that. By the time your PF group fills most of that hour can be gone.
I wouldn't mind a Coil story mode. +1 OP. No loots and no unlocks for normal Coil. Why not.
