Has any other SCHs been having the feeling of their MP gets depleted so fast due to Adloquium's extreme MP cost? And Succor? Right now, I am at 656 MP per Adloquium. And 820 per Succor. And we only have 3 Aetherstacks available to us 'Arcanists'. With the amount of MP needed for such spells, and the new and old spells requiring Aetherstacks, I think we need a bit more of them. Not to mention Resurrection. It costs 1,641 MP for me right now. I'm only level 56, and I am told these spell costs gets insanely expensive at level 60. 2k+ for Resurrection, 1k+ for Adloquium. And I'm sure around 1.2k for Succor. I understand that we get 10k+ MP, but if people dies alot, that is 2k+ MP used per cast. And Adloquium will be taking around 10% of our MP. I know that is what Energy Drain is for, but to me, it seems it won't be enough to sustain shields + heals. Not to mention for Sacred Soil, Indomitability, Lustrate. It seems overhwelming. Any other SCHs feeling a bit overhwelmed? Yes, I know I complain a lot. But this, seems to be legit. 3 Aetherstacks is just not enough in my opinion. I expected to have at least 1 more stack gained on teh way to 60, but already 60 Arcanists tells me, you only merely get 3.

I agree the mp cost is getting out of hand. I like whm and by the way people are talking you burn through so much mp like crazy. So not looking forward to leveling my whm. Think i'm stick to tanking and dpsing and wait to see if they lower the mp cost by a bit, not asking alot just a little.

I'm level 60 sch and I haven't had much of a problem. Cleared all current content and only start running on empty if we have excessive deaths and if thats the case its normally a wipe anyway. I also help with dps. I just dont spam adlo or succor and always use aetherflow as soon as it comes up. If I have stacks when it comes up if I have time I cleric energy drain them or just use them on lustrates as a regular heal so they arent wasted.

I understand that, Angie. But, to me, having the level cap increased to 60. And last Aetherdam that was given to us, was level 40. I seriously expect to have been given at least 1 more. And it irks me so much that we are given an affinity for Blizzard II, and it doesn't give us MP back. It is like what is the point of having that affinity if it doesn't work like a BLM's Blizzard II? And this idea may be a little far-fetched, but...as a SCH, why do we have these Enhanced Intelligence traits? Shouldn't it be Enhanced Mind instead? I understand that SCH and SMN shares the same base class (Arcanist), but they are different jobs.

Honestly when i keep an eye on Aetherflow cooldown and when its ready use "Energy Drain" on a mob to get extra MP and then use Aetherflow. Youll get enough MP to keep you going. At level 60 the last resort for you is Dissipation. I find this challenging unlike infinite MP when you could spam Adloquium all the time.
