Those Lalafells? [SPOILER]

So in a side-story quest chain in Revenant's Toll (which you obtain at lvl 54 after completing the lvl 54 MSQ) we meet 4 lalafells. After the side-story quest chain these 4 Lalafells run off and have not been seen since but they hinted that they had a large monster with them but they did not have bring due to issues this monster would cause in Toll.

I'm guessing by how the 3 Lalafells are greedy for treasure( except for 1 since she is always falling asleep) this may hint for a Future Hard mode Dungeon and this mysterious monster for that Hard Mode Dungeon Final boss.

Maybe Aurum Vale Hard mode.

And I think that they will simply be rivals for the Doman kids to prove their usefulness, and be some lighthearted quest until we get Hildy again.

And wasn't the monster thing just a distraction for them to run off? They did some fake summoning thing for Valefor, knowing that our WoL was a primal killer and would probably take it seriously.

They only faked that part because the monster they had with them was not with them during that time. They mentioned it earlier being that they had to send it away due to it may cause some issues for them in Toll so they decide to fake it out to escape.

Next time we meet them we may face that "monster" next time.

I loved that whole quest chain because I thought it was a precursor to the next set of Hildy quests.

There was one line one of the children mentioning a great detective was on the case or something (have since forgotten the exact language) but i got super excited and was honestly expecting to see hildy pop up in the background of one of the later conversation cutscenes. My personal theory was that the 4 lalafels will make some kind of return along with the 4 doman kids in some kind of detective series, probably running parallel to a Hildy quest line or in conjunction. Something like great crime occured, the 4 lalafels take credit even though they didn't do it and the kids try to catch them with hildy bumbling alongside.

I may be misremembering something but I thought I saw Hildy walk by in the background at one point during those quests?

I seem to remember reading something that said the 1.0 dungeons weren't designed to have HM versions of them, so there were no plans to make those since it would require completely redesigning the dungeons from the ground up.

A: When we were making FFXIV: ARR we redesigned the regulations for making dungeons to account for the new battle system and cameras; however, this didn't apply to dungeons designed for 1.0. As the FFXIV: ARR storyline would connect to the story from 1.0, we shortened these 1.0 dungeons as much as possible and made adjustments to fit the regulations of FFXIV: ARR, which is what you see with Dzemael Darkhold and the Aurum Vale. However, there are limitations to what we can do, and in the event that we wanted to add a hard mode, it would require roughly the same amount of resources as creating a brand-new dungeon. For this reason, we do not have any plans to make hard modes for the dungeons originally designed for 1.0.

Oh God that side quest felt completely random at first until he was reintroduced in Hildibrand Season 1 as Hildy's Father.
