Plumed Barding achievement reward

I received the achievement 'Breakin Bo' for training another player's chocobo companion 30 times, with the reward being a Plumed Barding. I did not receive the Plumed Barding. I submit a in-game message for help, the GM directed me to fill out a bug report here.

Did you talk to the gambler guy at apkallu falls in Old Gridania? That's where you get all achievement rewards.

Not a problem, common issue. I had to dig around online for about 5 minutes when I first tried to get an achievement reward. There's plenty of people here who will answer reasonable questions promptly, no matter how stupid they may seem to the veterans.
