15 minute wait time is a luxury compared to the memories I have of many waits over 2 hours long in queues as DPS before.

Seriously, have you been in the game when patch 2.4 (the Ninja patch) was released? I pray to God SE never ever makes a patch/expansion again where only a new DD class is released. DF was hell at that time; what we got today is very mild.
I (as a SMN) get my popup usually in between 8 to 15 mins, depending on time of day (I select de+en as languages, no parties-in-progress, playing in Shiva/Datacentre "Chaos"). While I am waiting, I level my gatherers and crafters. Seriously, it has only been two weeks since the official launch of HW, is there really nothing that interests you while waiting?
You'd think in those queue times theyd hit a dummy and try to increase their dps but there seems to be a bad case of people in i180 gear hitting less than people in i130 did by 100 or so
e.g. i180 mnk i had in floor 1 doing 450
This is paradise compared to the 45 minutes-1 hour queues we got before expac.

Been playing DRG since launch. Some times its worse than others. If you're keeping up with the rest of the server on new content, it's not that bad. If however you're doing older content it can be a pain.

And people complain when they need to wait duty for 15 mins. When I just started playing as ACN, even until I become 50 SMN, I just keep waiting my duty above 30 mins all dungeon and primals.
EDIT: This video almost like my experience lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4akl6AUj_JM

Do you remember when DPS queues were a guarenteed "more than 30 minutes?"
Peppertomes farm remembers.
That being said, I no longer run things as DPS anymore except for 24-man raids.

Ya it sucks queuing as dps. I have really limited amount of time to play right now and wasting 20-30 minutes of my hour or so of time basically doing nothing waiting on roulette to pop. It wouldn't be as bad if i could have my chocobo out while i waited. Right now my time is at 21 minutes and counting. I want to do daily hunts but i like to do them with my chocobo. Get my hunts done and get closer to finishing the weekly challenge log for chocobo 100 kills. Doing those hunts without my chocobo feels like a wasted opportunity.
More like ~10 minute queues for:
-Expert Roulette = 160-200 Law
-High Level = 100 Law
-Low Level = 100 Law
-Trial = 60 Law
That's a LOT of Law tokens in a single set of daily roulettes (a couple hours at most). I geared up my DRK to full Yasha by doing nothing but daily roulettes for a couple days. Even as a tank I can't be bothered to run the expert dungeons for a measly 80 Law.
So do FATEs or Levequests while you're waiting.Ya it sucks queuing as dps. So level up a tank or healing class purely for law grinding.
If we could queue with our chocobo out it would be so much better.
