    Boss Rush Mode - thoughts?

    As the title mentions, what do you think of a Boss Rush Mode?

    Simply, we get to revisit the old bosses from the long forgotten dungeons. How would this work?

    You que up into a 4 man party and enter the zone and the boss fight is right in front of you. so NO MOBS (unless its required for the boss).

    Once you defeat the boss, a teleport will appear, you use it to zone into the next boss.

    What about ilvl and lvl, etc?
    Personally...I would like them to make the boss simply stronger so we can fight at lv60, but syncing might be an option.

    When does it end?
    Either you defeat the preset number of bosses or one wipe and thats it

    Rewards?
    Rewards will be based on how well you do, the more you defeat the better the rewards.

    How many bosses?
    I personally feel that they should separate it in multiple tiers. So tier 1 will consist of bosses from dungeons from lv15 to 30. tier 2 will get 31 to 51 or something like that.

    Thoughts?

    Perhaps the party could stay "in combat" between each round, making the group conserve their resources from one battle to the next. It could award a unique consumable after each round to breathe a bit more MP/TP to the party so they don't starve after multiple rounds.

    Or, it could use a cumulative roulette of buffs/debuffs like FFVII's arena to wear down the party, although not everyone is receptive to RNG, especially when it's deciding the punishment for your next round!

    That might be really interesting. Make it more of an arena style where the party doesnt actually move from one battle to the next but, after they defeat a boss, theres a 15 sec rest (in battle mode) and the next boss spawns

    Why not something like...

    Low Level Boss Rush: Level 15-49
    Static Reborn Boss Rush: Level 50 (2.1-2.5)
    High Level Boss Rush: Level 51-59
    Heavenly Static Boss Rush: Level 60 (but won't be released until the last HW patch is out)

    Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking too. Call it something like...Boss Gauntlet? Basically just chaining boss after boss with minimal rest time in between(and the rest time could be reduced as you go further). Eventually you'll die of course, but the goal is to kill as many as you can before dying, and then get rewarded the more bosses you kill. Something like that could be pretty cool.

    Anything to get us new and fun content that provides fun for Hardcore and Casual players alike without dumbing it down or giving it a stupidly high DPS check etc. This would allow everyone to play and the the really good players would simply get farther. I would love to see this come to the Golden Saucer. SE make it happen!

    Interesting, but for example for the Low Level Boss Rush of 15 to 49...can a lv15 enter?? wouldnt the players be at a complete disadvantage to fight a boss so high level?

    OR

    would this be for lv60s only?
