Problem is especially with these new dungeons and peoples new rotations such as botd/enochain/dreadwyrm stacks dps are more in a hurry now than ever to stay efficient, slow pulls = detrimental to dps. Tanks are being forced to pull more even healers pull more mobs if the tank pulls slow. Tanks setting the pace is pretty much dying and learning how to speedrun is pretty much essential. I have seen instances of people getting extremely angry when tanks pull slow one person rage quits - tank is all alone as expert queues are pretty short still for dps.As a tank, you're the one who sets the run speed in regular dungeons. Don't like to speedrun? Just pull small packs. DPS trying to pull more packs? Let them die, unless thet can actually manage to tank them.
Always say you're new to the content. That way no one can really blame you if you mess up and no one told you what to do.
I don't think there's a whole lot of actual speedrunning happening in low-level dungeons, so you could go on and give healing a try as well.

its not always as simple as that, i have tried it once, and i was called a retard for not picking up the mobs they wanted to pick. and on another ocasions they tanked fine. in the end, i was also kicked before the last boss, with many insults.
thats why i never, run tank for dungens anymore unless it's for my friends or FC, why shud I? when my healer is my main job anyway i have no reason to queue as a tank, unless there is only 40m left todo expert before the reset, and i need that instant queue. there is no other reaosn for me.
The first thing to do is look up guides on dungeons before you enter them. It takes far less time for you to read a guide ahead of time than it does for someone to type out the rules for every encounter.
As far as speedrunning is concerned, most of the folks running these dungeons have already been through them dozens of times and want to get through them as quickly as possible, however trying to speedrun with a low geared/leveled tank, healer or even DPS can actually make the dungeon take longer if you're constantly wiping to big pulls. If that is happening, then let your party know that, because you are new and don't have the survivability/healing ability/damage output of an ilevel capped player, it would be faster to do small pulls and survive, than do large pulls and wipe.
If you aren't wiping, and your only complaint is that things are too hectic, then seriously, get over it. Any encounter you live through is a success.

I disagree as I can type out the rules in seconds. Brevity is the thing to learn.
Here are some examples:
Research Last Boss:
Dodge, Kill Ice Orb first, Get in Black Hole during Universal Manipulation, 3rd phase eat orbs to the face.
Fractal Last Boss:
Kill adds, Avoid Mines, stay off glowing squares
Raid Guides over complicate a lot and reality only make things more intimidating when in actuality it is not.

As others have said, the guides are often more complicated than the fight. Also, not everyone can just figure out a fight from reading a narrative, or watching a video. In addition, I pay my money same as anyone else; I want to play the game. I don't want to do research before I go into a dungeon and I don't want it to be stressful. For me this is a game, and any encounter that I ENJOY is a success.
Regardless, I would like your opinion on how I should proceed, as you seem to be one of the people who would not take kindly to my request to slow down.
In a random that I am healing, if I am unable to keep a tank/party alive and they are upset, how would you recommend that I approach the subject of pulling less?

ROFL this is funny. You expect a new person to the game to look up Sastasha or Tam Tara? It takes what ... two minutes to say "Hey, don't kill so and so, but make sure you DPS the so and so"? Wow .... so entitled sounding that everyone else be up to your standards.
I've been in Tam Tara no less than 20 times in Roulette and own choice, and I love doing it over and over. Not everyone has your OMG HURRY UP NAOW mentality.

I explained exactly how tanks aren't doing what needs to be done to hold a small group because they think 1-2 aoe, single target 1 mob only, and done for the whole pack, they don't rotate combo and they don't aoe again. You try to tell them and they say they know their job and still don't. If a tan k is put in a situation to hold multiple mobs they will spam their aoe. Thus easier. Most bad tanks don't pay attention to the multiple agro meters. I shouldn't need to give that detailed of an explanation. .. this is no different then what I said in my last 2 post

I agree, I've never read any guides when first time doing dungeons from 2.50 as a tank (except for primal fights) because tank's roles is so easy. I usually ask for the party for instruction, they usually say 1 liners like "tank and spank", "dodge aoe", etc and been successful ever since, never a wipe occurs.
And I wish there's mute button when dfing.
I as a tank never do speed running while lv synced, like dungeons lv 49 and under, also lv 51 and above, except 60 probably when my main story reaches there.
Just go at the pace you want. They still need you for boss fights and they aren't going to kick you and wait around fifteen minutes for a replacement. No, you won't get any comms, and that sucks and can feel like a personal attack, but grow a thick skin and do what you gotta do.
