Sure. And when you pull ahead of the tank and both they and the healer let you die because they know their own limits and you are trying to force them to do things which they frankly cannot do because they barely meet the minimum item level for the duty, have fun not only failing to get the tank votekicked but also enjoying your shiny new DPS queue.
If the tank is overgearing the content and is just being lazy and making the run take four times longer than it should? Sure, whatever floats your boat. But be ready to eat the consequences if you end up being the problem. If I queue into Neverreap as a fresh 60 in i145 with my pocket healer because we're used to doing everything together and know each other's limits, and you keep trying to get everyone killed, neither of us are going to save you from your own impatience. Run shit with your static, friends or free company if you want to see just how far you can go, because nine times out of two? The only thing you'll test the limits of in duty finder is everyone's patience.
No one person is themselves the group, and patience is a virtue only fools elect to lack.

I was taught to handle giant pulls by FC tank friend making tad too large ones on purpose but that was in mutual understanding "hey, let's see if you can handle the next one" and I was "ok", sure we wiped some times, and on other times I was able to handle stuff he didn't expect me to. But that was in party of four where everyone was up to it. Not a random party that just wants their daily clear instead of a crash course to "how to pull too much".
If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

Speedrunning in the beginning was basically skipping any extra rooms and pull only packs along the main path to the boss rooms.

Speed runs are basically the most boring way to do anything in this game. :c No one cam disagree with this.
Hmm how do you define speed run? Because if you mean doing large pulls and killing all the trash, then yes I can disagree with that completely. Conversely, I find small pulls incredibly boring for all 3 roles.

Yup, that's a speed run! That's also the most boring way to play I've ever seen, since that involves next to no thought, imo. But, whatever.
Not sure how doing the exact same thing but with fewer mobs requires more thought?
On that note, slower/smaller pulls messes up my ability to DPS drastically as a SMN. It screws up the whole aetherial attunement stacks - at least in my experience.

Hot Shot, Ricochet, spread shot, quick reload, spread shot spam, play monster hunter on a hand held while I mash buttons with my toes, buffing with raging, hawks eye, b4b when available and hypercharge. When I can play another game doing one method method, that method is, imo, brain dead. But, opinions!
I don't understand your reply.Hot Shot, Ricochet, spread shot, quick reload, spread shot spam, play monster hunter on a hand held while I mash buttons with my toes, buffing with raging, hawks eye, b4b when available and hypercharge. When I can play another game doing one method method, that method is, imo, brain dead. But, opinions!
Specifically, how does fighting a pack of 3 mobs require more thought than fighting a pack of 12 mobs?
