thats the point. The game is casual and fails as a typical-mmo. So SE should capitalize on it. Make a -REALLY- good single-player part to the game and use it to draw in players and subscriptions.

Might be worth making the single player part get someone to level 50 and upping the cap to 60 or so. That way when they finish the single-player part there is an incentive to play the MMO part. Or they can do both at the same time.

I dunno about all that...single player JRPGs arent all that "casual" to begin with. As far as exping goes, chains among other things are right around the corner with 1.19. Same with more monster and class skill rebalancing/additions/removals, and more. Not to mention we all know that Yoshi and crew are most likely going to force player party battles to the forefront with the storyline (case in point, Ifrit battle since there is no way you and one other helper could take on a Primal going on common sense).

EDIT: Battle Regimens are being taken out and redesigned from the ground up to most likely reward skill/timing in battle...and everything is going towards trying to achieve a good mix of the best of both worlds. Now a spin off title about Eorzea or even back with Vanadiel that takes on a similar fighting style? Sure. But a main expansion? No.

We're trying to get away from the 70%SP / 20%MP (random percentages but my point still stands) stuff that was imposed in the first place.
