This game -still- isn't making profit in -any- way
This game has -nothing- unique and nothing unique planned for the future
Thus: This game is not competitive with other MMOs.

This game is simply a glorified pretty grind fest. There is no engaging story (trust me, i've done every sidequest, over half the class-quests, the entire mission, and written out a lore guide for nearly all the open-world lore in the game and the game has less substance than most free MMOs. I was a Gamesage on hello kitty online and it honestly had more lore than this game.... which is sad), the dungeons are bland when you compare them to the instances coming out in SW: TOR which have choices that change the instance as well as voices. Leveling is literally just clicking mobs with no strategy.

Currently the new patch might be late.
The patch after that with jobs will prob not be till december.
And it will prob take 2-4 months or longer to balance out the jobs (since it took a year just to balance them into the game)

So how is this game doing good?
You took up xi earlier ...

Now im gonna tell you a truth, so scary that you're gonna pee your pants!

Xi started out much worse than ffxiv.

The reason xi survived was that people tried giving it a chance, for two years!

Meaning that if the game attracts payable customers in less than a year from now, it will have done better than xi.

About 50/50 would pay as of right now it seems. Those who say they wont play normally got no characters over lvl 10.

Would you pay if it became p2p now?

im lower level than you, but most likely, ive played more, cause i find it fun just running around and dfoing random shit. Would you pay if it became p2p?
