Mission:
To Provide an outlet for player to enjoy and advance through Final Fantasy 14, in an environment that is productive and fair with those who desire nothing else but to be the best, as a player, member, and participant of the in-game community.

What is Paradox:
Paradox is a guild designed to be self sufficient and allow members to do all functions of the game in one group. We consider ourselves a dedicated group of players and have structured the ls in a way that has brought us success since Paradox was established in Jan 4, 2006.

Brief History:
Paradox began its life as an hnm shell on Final Fantasy 11 back on Jan 4th 2006. After a successful start we quickly expanded into a large endgame shell covering all areas of the existing game. We quickly matched and exceeded the levels of our main competitors in the following year. At the end of 2008 we transferred to the Fenrir server where we have been the dominate force in endgame since day 1, with our linkshell holding over a 80% claim rate on all hnms, being one of the most successful einherjar/dyna/limbus groups on Fenrir, as well as having a large presence in the Sky and Sea scene. Now with the release of Final Fantasy 14 we have come to Cornelia to continue our tradition of excellence on a new playing field.

Currently in FFXIV:
We have been active since the server's start and continue to be active with near 320 straight days of active events (less the occasional free night/holiday). We are focused heavily into current endgame with plans to immediately enter the new content as it is brought into the game. We have a high success rate in all areas with countless World NM kills, speed dungeon runs, factions nms, and farming dungeon runs. We have constant leveling groups as we are always working to improve our abilities and get the newer members ready to join the older players in endgame. Our nightly events remain strong with 2-3 separate group of varying levels doing schedule events during our primary event time.

Requirements to Join:

• Good Attitude (No forum drama in my shell, online trolling will be immediate removal from the shell)
• Serious about the game... this is not the place for you to "try out the game/patch"
• Serious about endgame... this is not a social linkshell (social in respect to style not that we are unsociable), while we understand people have real lives we expect you to participate with the ls during events when you are able to be online
• Willingness to improve... we expect members to want to improve, some events we do require specific strategies (required abilities and such to do them). We ask all members to get these. Leaders will help members meet the requirements by simply pwrlvling them, assisting them in leveling, or the bank will purchase them the required gear.
• Dedication... we understand members have other linkshells, and we do not want to restrict members from socials they where in. But we do make it a requirement that you do events with Paradox during event/schedule event hours. (standard endgame policy across all mmos, you cannot be in 2 endgame guilds due to conflict of interest)

Edit: I would like to thank all the new members for giving paradox a shot and giving a good strong launch into 1.19. Currently Paradox has reached its quota on members and actually have pushed a little past it to allow for some people who is leave due to still not liking the game.

I am restricting recruitment only to those with at least 1 50 job with the required subs to perform their job and who can play in our primary NA time frame at least 4/7 days a week. Or those with member referrals who are serious about endgame/getting to endgame and being active in it. OR those who can play in excess of 40hrs a week and are interested in endgame.
