Alexander music

Thank you SE for making such awesome music for the Alexander raid. I think the music for fist of the father part of the Alexander raid was so good that when I tried it Today I got very distracted by it that i caused my group to wipe cause of it.What are your guys thoughts on the music for this raid?

Honestly though... Alexander, level whichever? More like - Club Alexander, floor whichever. Felt a bit odd at first to me, with the setting, but the music itself is good, so yeah, I definitely don't mind.

I love the music BUT its soooo loud on the bosses I have to turn it down.

Another issue is since its in every single raid it kind of causes headaches after awhile. Had to turn it down again.

I've done just the Fist and somehow I dislike its background music. For some reason I'm not fond of vocals playing the entire fight, let alone 2 or more voices singing along on a non-stop pop chorus. For me is like fighting against The Oppressor alongside both Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus
Obviously, this is just my opinion and I respect people not sharing this feeling. Furthermore, I highly value Soken and the entire sound team for creating songs that are that different from each other, even though I might dislike some of them.

Alexander OST is boss. Especially the boss theme.... Miles better than Coil boss theme.

New soundtrack is patches 2.2 to 2.5 only (which is why it's cheaper than the previous 2 soundtracks), for Heavensward there will likely be another new soundtrack somewhere around patch 3.1. (of course, they may include a bonus/secret in the MP3 version, like they did with the previous ones)

I like how different primals employ different styles of music to reflect the differrnt beast tribe cultures. Ramuh's was very hypnotic and chilled out, Leviathan's was Japanese-esque until Tidal Wave then it became grungy, Titan was heavy metal, Ravana is like Rammstein, German Death Metal, Shiva's was pop-punk or indie rock, Bismarck was ambient/new age, Alexander is like club with hiphop elements. I enjoy the concept of variety, even if some songs i dislike. It adds dimension and personality.

Also interesting: tempered beastmen have an epithet before their name/class to signify which primal to whom they are tempered to. Tempered servants of Leviathan are "drowned", tempered servants of Ramuh are "Violet", servants of Odin are "Sundered" each of these adjectives relates to a property or element of the primal. The goblin servsnts of Alexander, which has always been a Light/Holy elemental summon in previous FF games are "illuminati", which means "enlightened". Cool tidbit.
