Or they could just remove the untradeable tags from said items, allowing items to be traded to people outside of a given company and giving them value beyond that of their required seals.

I bought an Ul'dahn Scimitar and I completely regret it now since it's just sat on my retainer using up an inventory slot and I have no real use for it.
I hope they also remove the Unique tag from the SP scrolls but I can't see that happen.

Just in a few words, give the same items in all the companies so people can choose the nation they feel like without loosing the chance to get an item.

just like buying items fro nations in XI each nation had specialized items specific to the nation that your conquest points could get you. just choose the nation for your preferred job. . . if they hand us everything on a silver platter wheres the uniqueness? the challenge? the reason not to choose Ul'dah center of the fricken game >.< hate that city lol

Except you could buy from other nations at an increased cost.
And I'm not picking my nation based on gear.
I started in Limsa as a GLA and I'm gonna join the Maelstrom as a GLA!
